Development features

It takes the plant a medium amount of time to come into bloom. The stalk is of a medium height. The corolla colour at budding stage is blue and violet, upon reaching full development — light blue. The base of the pistil is white. The boll is of medium size. The seeds are dark brown. The fat content is 44.5% at a high iodine number of 208.65.

Disease resistance

The variety can be damaged with flax anthracnose. The disease affects seedlings, leaves, bolls or seeds. Dark brown or rusty orange spots appear on the seeds.

Crop protection

Seed treatment prior to sowing. In case of first signs of anthracnose damage during vegetation, fungicides from triazole or imidazole class should be applied.
