Development features

Winter-hardy, early maturing, for growing in forage and turf grass mixtures with early maturing cereals. The crop has a high feeding value. Relatively resistant to major pathogens. High stand longevity. Relatively high lodging resistance. High regrowth capacity. Time required from germination until bud formation is 20–40 days. Tolerates soil alkalinity and excess water stress. Belongs to floodplain ecological type. The shrub has a creeping growth habit, the stem is 20–25 cm high characterised by a high branchiness and uniform leafiness of up to 45–50%. The time required from spring growth until first cut is 51–60 days. Medium drought resistance
