Development features

High-yielding leafless midseason-ripening variety. The plant is of medium height with good lodging and pod shattering resistance. Medium draught tolerance. Harvesting is recommended at 16–18% moisture content, requires gentle handling during harvesting and post-harvest processing

Soil requirements

Phosphorus: 45 kg/ha active substance, potassium: up to 120 kg/ha active substance, nitrogen: 30–40 kg/ha active substance only in poor soils.

Disease resistance

Moderate resistance to Botrytis grey mold
Poor resistance to rust and ascochyta blight

Crop protection

Seed treatment against root rots and ascochyta blight with Maksim (2 l/t). In the southern regions where bean seed fly is widespread, an insecticide needs to be added to the fungicide. Two combined treatments with a fungicide and insecticide mixture against brown rust and pea weevils starting from budding stage are obligatory.
