Development features
The variety is mid-maturing. The plant height varies from medium to high. The variety is characterised by 3.8-point lodging resistance and moderately filled culm. The head is pyramid-shaped, of medium length, intensive colour, friable structure. The awns are of light brown colour, extending beyond the head. The drought resistance is above average.

The best predecessors are fallow, legumes and rape. Application of up to 100 kg/ha (active substance) of nitrogenous fertiliser is recommended. Phosphate-potassium fertiliser is introduced prior to sowing depending on the soil analysis results
Disease resistance
The variety is moderately resistant to brown rust and loose smut.
Crop protection
Seed treatment with a fungicide and a nicotinoid group insecticide mixture. From 2 to 3 fungicide treatments is required over the vegetation period depending on the water availability. To produce highly vitreous grain, finishing head treatments with a fungicide and insecticide mixture are of vital importance. Particular attention should be paid to the development of various kinds of mites and timely insecticide treatments
Intended use
The grain is valuable for pasta production due to its high viscoelastic gluten properties and yellow colour characteristic of good quality pasta products
