Development features
A mid-maturing variety with a high frost and winter hardiness. The plant is of medium height 85–89 cm, lodging resistant.

Soil requirements
The variety is of intensive type, it is recommended primarily for highly and moderately rich soils (after green and black fallows, legumes). It responds well to basal fertiliser dressing before sowing and split nitrogenous fertiliser application (total of 100 kg/ha active substance). It can be sown into the stubble from previous crops.
Disease resistance
The variety is resistant to stinking and loose smut, powdery mildew, brown rust and fusarium head blight; moderately susceptible to septoria spot.
Crop protection
Seed treatment with a fungicide (highly efficient against powdery mildew) and neonicotinoid group insecticide is required. When grown in rich soil and favourable conditions with respect to humidity, two fungicide applications at the beginning of stem elongation (GS29-31) and before flowering (GS59-61) are recommended. The amount and number of insecticide treatments depends on the kind and number of pests.
