The variety belongs to the mid-maturing group. The plant is of medium height. The ear is pyramid-shaped, of medium density. The kernel is large. The protein content is up to 11.3%. It is lodging resistant.

Production of malting quality grain requires limiting the nitrogen application upon sowing to not more than 30 kg/ ha active substance upon sowing. The application of phosphate-potassium fertilisers depends on the soil reserve and amounts to 60 kg/ha active substance.

Based on the results of field trials, the variety is resistant to root rots. It is also resistant to major diseases in field conditions.

Treatment of seeds with a fungicide and insecticide mixture. One fungicide treatment during vegetation is mandatory, may be followed by an additional one depending on the cultivation technology used. Insecticide application as needed. The use of plant growth regulators is possible
