Development features

Winter hardiness and drought tolerance are high. On average over the years of competitive variety trials, the green mass yield of the hybrid reached 74.3 t/ha, dry matter 14 t/ha, seed yield 600–800 kg/ha. Crude protein content in hay of the 1st cut was 13.5%, water soluble carbohydrate content 19.8%. The variety is fairly unaffected by diseases and pests. In Central and North-Western regions of Russia in monocrop or in a grass mixture with leguminous grasses, 3 to 4 cuts are recommended.
