Cereals are a good previous crop. Introduction of phosphorous and potassium fertilisers (40 kg/ha active substance) prior to main tillage in autumn or NPK 10:26:26 at a rate of 100 kg/ha prior to sowing. An absolutely even field surface upon sowing with extra rolling is crucial.

The variety shows intermediate resistance to ascochyta blight and anthracnose

Fungicide and insecticide treatment of seeds, one fungicide treatment during the vegetation, the frequency of insecticide applications depends on the pest pressure. High sensitivity to imidazolinone class herbicides. Soilapplied herbicides with half dosage are preferable. E. g.: a combination with C-Metolachlor 0.8 l/ha active substance and Prometryn 2 l/ha. When using the Imazetapir postemergent herbicide at a rate of 0.6 l/ha with, lentil plant inhibition during the first week after the treatment is observed.
