Development features
A midseason-ripening high-yielding food variety. The drought resistance is medium and above medium. High lodging and pod shattering resistance. Protein content in the bean is 22.1-24.0%. The plant height is medium. The seeds are globe-shaped. The cotyledons are yellow, the hilum is light. TKW is medium. The number of seeds per pod is average.

Soil requirements
Optimum soil types are loam and sandy loam, with sufficient organic matter and a soil pH of 6.5–7.5. Nitrogenous fertiliser is applied only on light soils and soils poor in humus prior to sowing at a rate of 20 kg/ha active substance. The rates of phosphate and potassium fertilisers are 60 and 90 kg/ha, respectively. Trace minerals (Mn, Mg) are highly important, particularly, in arid conditions.

The variety is resistant to powdery mildew and septoria spot, susceptible to brown rust and ascochyta blight.

Crop protection
Seed treatment against root rots and ascochyta blight with Maksim (2 l/t). In the southern regions where bean seed fly is widespread, an insecticide needs to be added to the fungicide. Two combined treatments with a fungicide and insecticide mixture against brown rust and pea weevils during vegetation starting from budding stage are obligatory.
